Kashmiri Kahwa Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 4 green tea bags
- 1/4 teaspoon Saffron / Kesar
- 4 cardamom / Elaichi
- 2 cinnamon
- 1/2 cup almond / badam
Instructions
Pre-Cooking Prep Steps
- Boil 4 cups of water in a large pot.
- Add the green tea bags, saffron threads, cardamom pods, and cinnamon sticks to the pot.
- Let the mixture simmer for 5-10 minutes, until the spices are fragrant and the tea has steeped.
- Remove the tea bags and strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve.
- Add chopped almonds to the tea, and let them soak for 2-3 minutes.
Cooking Steps
- Heat the tea over low heat until it is warm.
- Pour the tea into small cups and serve with dried fruits and nuts.
