Chicken wraps are a popular dish that consists of a tortilla filled with various ingredients such as grilled or fried chicken, vegetables, sauces, and cheese. The ingredients are rolled up in the tortilla and served hot, making it a convenient and portable meal. Chicken wraps can be served as a main dish, snack, or even as a party food. They are also a great option for meal prepping, as they are easy to make ahead of time and can be eaten on the go.
Arrange all ingredients together to avoid last minute rush.
Wash and very finely chop onion, capsicum and green chillies in a Chopper.
Wash and finely chop all wrap salad vegetables.
Wash and chop all salad ingredients in thin slices.
Wash and chop basil leaves and coriander leaves.
Cooking
For making Chicken Patties
To start making Chicken Patties, mince chicken breasts in a Chopper. Transfer in a Mixing Bowl.
Then, add chopped vegetables,oil and all other ingredients for Chicken Patties in the Mixing Bowl.
Now, mix the marination mixture well and keep it in refrigerator for 2 hours for marination.
After resting period is over, shape marinated mixture into small patties and place one by one on a hot Frying Pan or Tawa. Make sure brush generous amount of oil on Tawa before placing Chicken Patties.
Cook on medium heat until it turns golden brown or till cooked well from one side. It will take approx 3-4 minutes.
Then, flip the patties and cook other side of the patties also for 3-4 minutes or patties cooked well.
For Seasoning
In a small bowl, add yogurt, little amount of salt, chilli powder, basil leaves, coriander leaves and oregano into it. Mix well.

For making Chicken Wraps
For Chicken Wrap, take a Tawa and warm tortilla at medium heat.
Then, spread butter on it.
Now, place tortilla in a Serving Plate and add all salad ingredients.
Now, add cooked Chicken Patties ( divide one patty into halves).
Then, sprinkle prepared yogurt and green chutney.
Lastly, sprinkle very less salt and black pepper.
Roll the tortilla cylindrically to shape it into a wrap. Secure the wrap with a tissue paper or aluminum foil. Your Homemade Chicken Wrap is ready to serve.
Spiciness: It is best to use Kashmiri red chilli powder or deghi mirch. You can adjust spices of Chicken patties as per your preference.
Oil: You can use any neutral tasting oil. Some options are sunflower oil, canola oil or olive oil.
Ginger Garlic Paste: You can swap paste from fresh ginger and garlic.
Mayonnaise: It acts as an emulsifier and emulsify Chicken with the veggies and spices. It helps Chicken Patties to remain soft and juicy.
Onions: I highly recommend to use red onions for that extra crunch.
Marination: If you are short of time and don't have 2 hours for marination, try to keep at least for 30 minutes.
Airfryer: You can cook these Patties in Air Fryer also, by keeping close watch in between the timer. Air fryer will take 25 minutes at 180°C to cook these Chicken Patties.
Seasoning: You can choose any seasoning of your choice. However, oregano makes the Chicken Wrap more tasteful.
