Dinner rolls are a type of bread that is typically served with dinner. They are small, soft, and fluffy, with a texture that makes them perfect for sopping up sauces and gravies. While many people think of plain white dinner rolls as the classic variety, there are actually many different types of dinner rolls to choose from, each with its own unique flavor and texture.
Add 3/4 cup flour, undissolved yeast, sugar and salt in a large Mixing Bowl. Heat milk, water and butter until very warm in a Saucepan and add to the flour mixture.
Beat the mixture for about 2 minutes at medium speed of Hand Mixer, scraping bowl occasionally.
Add 1/4 cup flour and beat 2 minutes more at high speed.
Stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough.
Dust flour on working space and knead dough lightly until smooth and elastic for about 8 to 10 minutes.
Cover and rest for 10 minutes.
Then, divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape into balls.
Place in greased Baking Tray or Baking Bowl. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in size for about 30 minutes.
Preheat the Oven for 10 minutes and bake them at 375° F for 20 minutes or until done completely.
Remove from Baking Tray and brush with melted butter, if desired.
Butter: Feel free to choose salted or unsalted butter.
Rapid rise yeast: Do not add expired yeast in the recipe. Very important to noted.
