Masala Papad is a popular Indian snack made by topping a crispy papad with a mixture of spices, chutneys, and sometimes vegetables. The papad is a thin, round, crunchy wafer made from a mixture of lentil flour and spices. The masala, or mixture of spices and chutneys, added to the papad can vary, but typically includes a combination of flavors such as tangy, spicy, and sweet.
Spices & Salt: Adjust the salt and green chillies as per your taste preferences. You can also sprinkle red chilli powder for more spicy taste. Optionally, roasted very fine cumin powder can also be sprinkled.
Adding Chaat Masala: Chaat masala can be added, but it will suppress the original taste of the veggies and make the taste of the chaat masala dominating.
Serving Tip: Serve immediately Masala Papad, otherwise it will be soggy.
Preps in advance: You can chop veggies and roast papad in advanced and keep them separately. Just arrange as mentioned above before serving.
