Potato Wedges Recipe is a simple dish that consists of large, wedge-shaped slices of potatoes that are seasoned, roasted in the oven, or fried until crispy. These versatile spuds are a popular side dish that can be served with a variety of main dishes, such as burgers, steaks, or roasted chicken. They are also great as a snack or an appetizer and can be dressed up or down to suit any occasion.
Assemble all ingredients together to avoid last minute rush.
Peel all potatoes and wash properly.
Then, cut into halves and then again each half into two equal parts. This way, you will get 4 equal wedges from each potato.
Cooking
Take all potato pieces in a Mixing Bowl.
Add 2 tbsp rice flour with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp dried oregano (or dried basil leaves), 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp oil and mix well with the potatoes.
Transfer to the Air Fryer basket and set for 15 mins at 180°C.
Gently flip in between the time after 7 or 8 minutes.
If you feel, potatoes are not cooked properly then air fry for another 3-5 minutes.
Drying Potatoes: Be sure to dry the potatoes well before cooking so they become crisp instead of steamed.
For best results: It is recommended to preheat the Air Fryer for best results.
Evenly cook: Avoid crowding the basket so the wedges can cook evenly. If needed, cook potatoes wedges in batches and at the end, add all wedges to the Air Fryer for 2-3 minutes to heat through.
Store: Could refrigerate any leftovers and can be reheated in the Air Fryer for 3-5 minutes before serving.
