Instructions
Pre-Cooking Prep Steps
Wash the meat cubes thoroughly and set them aside.
Chop the onions, tomatoes, and green chilies and set them aside.
In a mortar and pestle, crush the cumin and coriander seeds and set them aside.
Cooking Steps
Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch oven.
Add the chopped onions and sauté until they are soft and translucent.
Add the ginger and garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
Add the crushed cumin and coriander seeds, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Mix well and sauté for a minute.
Add the chopped tomatoes and green chilies and cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
Add the meat cubes and cook until they are browned on all sides.
Add enough water to cover the meat and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and let the meat simmer for 30-40 minutes or until it is tender.
Add salt to taste and garam masala powder. Mix well and cook for a few more minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.

You can adjust the amount of water to achieve your desired consistency of the broth.
