Ingredients
  

  • 500 g lamb cut into cubes
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 2 Tomato chopped
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin (Jeera)
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • Salt
  • water
  • coriander leaves / cilantro chopped

Instructions
 

Pre-Cooking Prep Steps

  • Wash the meat cubes thoroughly and set them aside.
  • Chop the onions, tomatoes, and green chilies and set them aside.
  • In a mortar and pestle, crush the cumin and coriander seeds and set them aside.

Cooking Steps

  • Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch oven.
  • Add the chopped onions and sauté until they are soft and translucent.
  • Add the ginger and garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
  • Add the crushed cumin and coriander seeds, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Mix well and sauté for a minute.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and green chilies and cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
  • Add the meat cubes and cook until they are browned on all sides.
  • Add enough water to cover the meat and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat and let the meat simmer for 30-40 minutes or until it is tender.
  • Add salt to taste and garam masala powder. Mix well and cook for a few more minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
