Assemble all ingredients together to avoid last minute.
Wash and chop 3 fish fillets. Keep aside.
For fish fry seasoning, take a bowl and add salt, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, fish fry masala, asafoetida, roasted cumin powder, favorite seasoning and oil. Mix everything very well.
Apply this prepared masala on chopped fish pieces.
Let them rest for half an hour.
In the meantime, chop 2 onions in rings for the recipe.
Cooking
After 30 minutes, heat oil in a pan over medium to high flame and transfer fish pieces in it.
Shallow fry from both sides till the fish cooked properly.
Remove cooked fish from the pan in a plate or bowl.
In the same pan, add onion rings. Do not add additional oil, onion would saute in the remaining oil till translucent. Keep in mind that crunch of onion rings should remain.
Add fried fish pieces and mix with the onion rings.
