Mushroom Veg is a popular vegetarian dish made using mushrooms as the main ingredient. It is a delicious and flavorful dish that is loved by many for its unique taste and texture. The dish is usually made with a combination of spices and herbs, which are carefully blended to create a rich and savory flavor. The mushrooms are first sautéed and then simmered in a spicy tomato-based sauce, which is thickened with a mixture of spices, herbs, and sometimes cream.
Add 1 tomato and saute till tomatoes turn soft. Also put 500 grams of sliced mushroom and ½ tsp salt, then saute for 1.5 minutes and cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Now add ½ tsp turmeric, ¼ tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp garam masala and ½ tsp pepper. Saute for a minute till masala is well cooked.
Go ahead and add 2 tbsp coriander leaves and 1 tbsp lemon juice and stir well. Add mushrooms and saute.
Ta da! It is ready to serve. Enjoy with bread and roti.
