Instant Pot Vegetable Korma Recipe
Vegetable Korma is a popular dish in Indian cuisine that is made from a variety of vegetables cooked in a rich, creamy and flavorful sauce. The dish is known for its delicate balance of flavors and is often served with rice or naan.
Ingredients
- 2 cups mixed vegetables carrots, peas, bell peppers, etc., diced
- 1 cup yogurt / dahi / curd
- 1 Onions finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 inch ginger minced
- 2 green chilli pepper minced
- 2 Tomato finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- Salt
- 2 tbsp ghee / clarified butter
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves / cilantro
Instructions
- In the Instant Pot, heat oil or ghee and add the onions. Sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, green chili pepper, and sauté for a minute.
- Add the tomatoes, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the mixed vegetables, yogurt or cream and mix well.
- Close the Instant Pot with the pressure valve sealed.
- Set the Instant Pot to manual mode and cook for 8 minutes.
- Once done, release the pressure manually and open the Instant Pot.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with rice or Indian bread like naan, tandoori roti, or paratha.

Notes
- You can use any vegetables of your choice for this recipe.
- You can also add some whole spices like cinnamon, bay leaves, and cardamom for a more flavorful Vegetable Korma.
- For a vegan version, you can use coconut cream instead of yogurt or cream and use vegetable oil instead of ghee.
