Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cabbage finely chopped
  • 1 Carrot grated
  • 1 Onions sliced
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp red chilli paste
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 green chillies finely chopped
  • ¼ cup coriander leaves / cilantro chopped

  • Assemble all ingredients together to avoid last minute rush.

  • Finely chop cabbage. It should be very thin and fine chopped as big pieces won’t look and taste good in the salad.
  • Peel and grate carrot.
  • Thinly sliced onion. I would recommend to use red onion here as they are more flavorful.

  • If you don’t have ginger paste, mince 1 inch ginger for the recipe.
  • Finely chop green chili and coriander leaves.

  • For Salad Dressing, take a small bowl and add ginger paste, rice, honey, salt red chili paste. Squeeze some lemon juice over it.

  • Then, add olive oil and ¼ tsp black pepper powder. Mix everything well. Salad dressing is ready, keep aside.
