Ingredients
  

  • 200 grams sago pearls / sabudana / Tapioca Sago
  • 1 cup Rice Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Eno or Fruit Salt
  • water
  • Oil

Instructions
 

Pre-Cooking Prep Steps

  • Soak the Sabudana in water for at least 4 hours or overnight until it becomes soft and swollen.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix together the Rice Flour, Salt, Sugar, Baking Soda, and Eno.
  • Drain the water from the soaked Sabudana and add it to the Rice Flour mixture.
  • Mix everything together to form a batter. Add water if required to achieve a thick and fluffy batter.

  • Let the batter sit for 15-20 minutes.

Cooking Steps

  • Grease the idli plates with oil and pour the batter into each mold, filling it 3/4 of the way.
