Ingredients
  

  • 5 tbsp yogurt / dahi / curd
  • water
  • ½ cup cucumber
  • 1 tsp salt or as required
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder
  • pinch Red Chilli Powder optional
  • coriander leaves / cilantro optional

Preparation

  • Assemble all ingredients together to avoid last minute rush.
  • Use yogurt or curd as per your choice. Yogurt might require more water while beating.
  • Grate Cucumber in a bowl and squeeze out all the liquid with the help of your palms.

Cooking

  • Take 5 tbsp yogurt in a bowl.
  • Add little by little water to beat the yogurt. Do not add water at once. We need medium thick consistency.

  • Now, add grated cucumber first to the beaten curd or yogurt.

  • Then, salt, roasted cumin powder, black pepper powder. Mix well.
