  • 1 tbsp ghee / clarified butter
  • 1 tsp Cumin (Jeera)
  • 2 bay leaf / tej patta
  • 2 cinnamon
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 Green cardamom
  • 2 black cardamom
  • 1 Onions finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables diced
  • 1 cup Chicken Breast / boneless chicken
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt
  • 1/2 cup yogurt / dahi / curd
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves / cilantro
  • 1/4 cup Onions
  • 1/4 cup Raisins optional
  • 1/4 cup cashew optional

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the rice in water and soak it for 20 minutes.

  • In the Instant Pot, add the oil or ghee and set it to sauté mode.
  • Add the cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, cloves, green cardamom, and black cardamom and sauté for a minute.
