  • 2 cups Besan / Gram flour sattu
  • 2 cups Whole wheat Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • water
  • Oil

  • Sift the roasted chana dal flour and wheat flour together.
  • Keep salt and oil ready
  • Mix the flours, salt and oil together and knead a soft dough by adding water.

  • Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
  • Roll out each ball of dough into a circle of about 6-7 inches in diameter.
  • Heat a griddle over medium heat.
  • Once the griddle is hot, place the rolled out dough on the griddle.

  • Flip the dough and cook for 1-2 minutes on the other side, or until golden brown.
  • Apply oil on both sides of the parantha while cooking.
