Ingredients
  

For Crust

  • 2 cups all purpose flour / maida
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter, salted
  • ½ tsp salt

For Filling

  • 4 apple
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • tbsp butter, salted
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ cup brown sugar

For Topping

  • 2/3 cup all purpose flour / maida
  • 4 tbsp butter, salted
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Assemble all ingredients together to avoid last minute rush.
  • Wash, peel and chop apples.
  • Keep butter out from fridge, so that it comes at room temperature or you can melt the butter in the Microwave as well.

Method

  • Preheat Oven to 350° F. Line a 9×13 Pan with parchment paper and keep aside.
  • Combine the egg, butter and sugar in a large Bowl. Mix until creamy.
  • Add all- purpose flour and salt and mix very well.
  • Press the prepared dough evenly in the prepared pan, use your fingers if required.
  • Bake in the preheated Oven for 15 minutes.
  • Now, for the filling, take a large Bowl again and combine chopped apples, brown sugar, butter, nutmeg powder and cinnamon powder. Stir until combined and pour evenly over crust.
  • Let’s prepare the topping, add the brown sugar, butter and all- purpose flour in a Bowl.
  • Mix until mixture is crumbly. Spread evenly over filling layer.
  • Bake for an additional 30 minutes in the Oven.
  • Let it cool down and then, cut into your desired shape.
