Ingredients
  

For the Noodles

  • 200 grams Lo Mein or Hakka Noodles
  • Oil

For the Vegetables and Protein

  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 2 garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger minced
  • 1 Onions thinly sliced
  • 1 capsicum / bell peppers thinly sliced
  • 1 Carrot julienned
  • 1/4 cup cabbage
  • 1/4 cup bean sprouts
  • 200 grams Chicken Breast / boneless chicken shrimp, tofu, or paneer (cut into bite-sized pieces)

For the Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon red sauce / red chilli sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar optional

Garnish

  • spring onion chopped
  • coriander leaves / cilantro chopped (optional)

Instructions
 

Pre-Cooking Preparation Steps

  • Prepare the noodles. Drain and set aside.
