  • Grill
  • Tongs
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tablespoon
  • Teaspoon
  • 2 small zucchini
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • ½ tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp dried basil leaves
  • ¼ tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp lemonjuice

Preparation

  1. Collect all ingredients.

  2. Wash and roughly chop basil leaves.
  3. Wash and slice zucchinis into thick strips.

Cooking

  1. Take a mixing bowl and add black pepper powder, salt, lemon zest, olive oil, red pepper flakes and dried basil leaves. Mix well.

  2. Brush the mixture to each zucchini slice both sides.

  3. Once grill is hot enough, carefully use tongs to rub an oiled paper towel over grates to prepare it for zucchinis.
  4. Place zucchinis on grill with the help of Tongs. Cover and cook for 2- 3 minutes. Flip and continue cooking on high at 2-3 more minutes.
  5. When zucchinis become tender, remove from heat and garnish with basil leaves and some more red pepper flakes.
  6. Hurray! Your Grilled Zucchini is ready to serve!
  • Salt & Seasoning: Feel free to season Zucchini Recipe according to your taste buds.
  • Kosher Salt: You could choose any other salt as well if kosher salt is not available.
